When I self-published my memoir, Saving St Brigid’s, the last thing I expected was to score a job as director of publishing in a commercial publishing house. It goes to show a well written book can take you a long way! Now, I’m in the unique position of having produced books from both sides of the publishing ‘fence’, so am well positioned to help you decide which path is best for you.

Whether you need a writing coach to simply get started, or an editor to fine tune your story, I can help you get to where you want to be. Having firstly self-published, and then walked dozens of authors through the process, my greatest learning is that nobody does it alone. Yes, writing is a necessarily solitary pursuit – but that doesn’t mean you should go through it alone. Even seasoned authors have their sounding boards – whether it be a coach, or a good friend or a publisher. We all need someone to bounce ideas off, to read our early drafts and provide constructive feedback – and merely keep us going, when the going gets tough – which it will and does!
We pour so much of ourselves, our hopes and our dreams, into writing a book. That’s what I love about publishing – working with people who bring their best to the table. Whether I become your writing coach, your editor or your publisher, that’s what I promise to bring to you.
