Finding your voice, I believe, is the key to all good story telling. We know it when we see it, when we’re immediately drawn into a story, effortlessly carried by a uniquely identifiable voice.
That’s my first job, as a ghost writer, and to that end, I’ll need to sit and listen to you – at length, for maybe a week on end. You might not particularly enjoy baring your soul like this, but trust me the more candour I can capture, the more I can bring your voice to life on the page.
My next step will be to transcribe the interviews and establish the structure, before having a stab at the first couple of chapters. Once you’ve given me the green light, I’ll carry on writing in a process that will take on average around 9 months, (which is why we say creating a book is very much like having a baby!)
From there, I can ensure your submissions to commerical publishing houses meet their standards, or hold your hand while you navigate the wonderful world of self-publishing.
